Rtn CA Haituk Desai joined RCBW in 2002-03. He's held Club Directorships in Rotary Year 2009-10 and 2010-11. He's also been the editor of our Flying Carpet twice. Haituk is a chartered accountant engaged in the profession of insurance loss adjusting since 1982. His firm was started in 1955 by his father, who was also a CA. Haituk specialises in the investigation of losses due to white-collar crimes. He's happily married to Shruti, a stock broker. He has two children: Rohan, who is an Actuary from the UK, and Poonam, who is an MSc in Finance & Economics. from the UK, is also an investment banker specialising in Mergers & Acquisitions. Poonam is now studying law.
